Underworld Cape Town murder-accused Andre Naude gunned down

CAPE TOWN - Underworld murder accused and security company owner, Andre Naude, has been shot and killed in Parow.

The incident reportedly took place on Voortrekker Road this afternoon.

City Mayco Member for Safety and Security JP Smith has confirmed that the man shot dead is alleged underworld figure Naude.

Naude’s body could be seen lying in Voortrekker Road close to the Jan van Riebeeck Drive intersection under a hospital blanket.

High-ranking police officials and alleged underworld figures are also at the scene awaiting forensics.

The attack comes seven months after another underworld figure, Mark Lifman, was shot and killed in George.

Naude and Lifman were on trial alongside alleged underworld figure Jerome "Donkie" Booysen for the murder of "steroid king" Brian Wainstein.
